I thought I'd write on here since no one really reads or uses xanga anymore.
I didn't cry today. I'm quite proud of myself.
A full 24 hours!!
I just need to get over it.
And how shall I do that you ask??
I'm going out tomorrow to try to get a second job.
Amazing tips, and I would only have to work Friday and Saturday nights.
It'll give me an excuse to come into town.
And I will keep my job in Lawrence, because the hours during the week make it so I can still sleep and do homework at night.
Oh, I've decided.
I am definitely going to NYC right before school begins.
I will see Rufus Wainwright perform at the Voodoo Lounge at Harrah's Casino the week before.
Then the week that school starts, I will go to NYC with Steven Eubank from Monday-Thursday.
That's pretty fab.
Things will be great.
And I'll have one more year left of the hell of Lawrence, then I will do whatever I need to in preparing for moving to NYC, if that's what the world really has in store for me. I hope it is!
I'm already planning out my senior recital. First act is a little iffy. That's the, "Oh, look! I can sing the way you are forcing me to!" And the second act is gonna be all the shit I really want to do. Songs by my favorite singers, songs from musicals, duets, whatever. YaY! It'll be fun!!
